It provides a user-friendly bridge between your web browser and the Ethereum blockchain, which is the host network for many dApps. Users can store Ether or any other ERC-20 token that was built using the Ethereum network and then use that cryptocurrency with the dApp of their choice. MetaMask is available as a browser extension and as a mobile app, that equips you with a key vault, secure login, token wallet, and token exchange — everything you need to manage your digital assets. If you are using MetaMask for the first time, create a new wallet. Make sure to copy and save the recovery phrase somewhere safe and do not share it.
